04: Check Out

The third page of your registration form is your online Check Out page. Here is where you can confirm your registration totals and make payment. 
 

 
  1. Amount summary section is where your registration totals are displayed. Please review this section before making payment. 
     
  2. The comment box area is used for any information you would like the competition director to know regarding your registration. 
     
  3. Pay by Check is sometimes available, depending on the competition's payment policies. If a comeptition as advertised that they do accept checks, but you do not see this payment option available, please contact the competition staff immediately. To process a check payment, you must first agree to competition terms and policies by ticking off the checkbox beside the "I agree" statement. Then you may click on Complete to process your registration.
     
  4. Pay by Credit Card is sometimes available, depending on the competition's payment policies. If a competition has advertised that they do accept credit card payments but you do not see this option availabke, please contact the competition immediately. To process an online credit card payment, you must enter your credit card information and billing information. You must also agree to competition terms and polices by ticking off the checkbox beside the "I agree" statement. You can then click on the button Checkout to process your online payment. 

04: Check Out

The Check Out page will display a brief summary of your registration before you check out. It is here you can review your registration.
 
 
  1. The View Summary link will open a separate page of your registration invoice, which you can print for your own records.
     
  2. Brief Summary window will display the list of attendees, their add-ons, and any discounts they have received from coupons. It is also here where you can view your Grand Total before processing check out.
     
  3. Special Comments Box allows you to enter any comments you would like the convention company to receive.
     
  4. “I agree…” link usually directs you to the terms and policies of the convention company. This should be reviewed before clicking on the checkbox. Once this is done, you may click on Complete to process your registration.

04: How Do I Delete a Payment Made By Mistake?

The DSM refund tool will help keep your accounting balanced. You can use this to reverse any incorrect payments or payments that require a refund.
 
1. Login to your Dance Studio Magic account
2. Click on the Students tab
3. Click on Transactions for a particular student
 
 
4. Click Add Refund on the far right side. 
 
 
When you click Add Refund, the following window will pop-up:
 
 
Simply type the amount paid accidentally into the Amount box and click Save.
 

05: How Do I Transfer Students from DSM to DCG?

One of the ways your Dance Studio Magic account works with your DanceComp Genie account is the ability to transfer dancers from DSM to DCG easily.
 
This article will show you how to save your dancers in two places: Dance Studio Magic and DanceComp Genie.
 
DSM allows you to manage you students that are registered for classes at your dance studio, and DCG allows you to register those same students in competitions and conventions. 
 
Here is how to do it:
 
1. Login to your Dance Studio Magic account
2. Click on the Classes tab to go to your main Classes list
 
 
3. Find the class that you want to transfer students to your DanceComp Genie account
4. Click Transfer to DCG 
 
 
5. Now, click the Convention & Competition tab
6. Click Dancers
 
 
When you transfer dancers to DCG, they will populate in this list. 
 

05: Online Registration Is Complete

Once you have processed your payment, you will see the following screen to show you that your registration has been completed: 
 
 
From this screen, you can: 
 
  • View and Print Registration Details
     
  • Register another event 
     
  • Go to My Accounts Page
